My name is Sebastian Imoberdorf and I am currently working as a Lecturer for Spanish, Latin American and Comparative Literature at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland.
I completed my studies (BA + MA) at the University San Pablo CEU in Madrid (Erasmus), at the University of Bern (BeNeFri) and at the University of Fribourg (CH). At the latter, I also obtained a Diploma of Advanced Studies in Secondary Education and a PhD with a dissertation on hybrid identity formation in US Latinx migration literature (awarded "Summa cum laude" and the Joseph Vigener Award 2019 by the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Fribourg). I did a doctoral research stay at University of California, Santa Barbara and recently finished a postdoctoral research stay at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
